High-Speed Passenger Experience
Red-letter driving experience at championship level racing speeds.
- Locations & Dates
Passenger experiences are held on GoldTrack track days only – visit our track days page for available dates.
- Restrictions
Restrictions (on age, height and weight) may vary. Under 18’s can be accompanied by an adult and if you have any underlying heart conditions, then perhaps this experience is not for you.
- Experience Duration
20 to 30 minutes are assigned for each passenger experience. This allows for time for meet and greets, photos and a number of circuits around the racing track.
- Weather

- Dress Code For Passengers
Please wear trousers, a long-sleeved top and trainers or flat-soled shoes. Helmets are provided. - Other Info

I can do this! It’s only a car (that I won’t be driving) and it’ll be no more than 20 minutes or so around a racetrack. Granted… there are one or two sharp bends but it’s a circular racetrack and anyway, I’ll be in the experienced hands of Calum Lockie.
Easy-peasy I thought as I was trussed into the passenger seat then it slowly dawned on me that this was very, very REAL. This was no ordinary car. This was a mean souped-up Porsche 911 and Calum wasn’t going to take any prisoners. He didn’t.

Hanging on for grim death we achieved a staggering 155mph during what was one of the most exciting, exhilarating and terrifying bucket list experiences of a lifetime.
Honestly, this is something we all need to do. Never mind fairground rides and the like. This was the speed that was REAL and in the hands of someone whose experience is REAL, and I will never ever watch motor racing or a car chase again without reliving the total thrill of that 20 minutes around a windswept hill known as Thruxton.

Professional Driver History Calum Lockie
Calum Lockie is an A Grade A ARDS & MSA licenced coach Calum who has some 25 years of experience and over 4500 days on track.
Having raced in everything from vintage cars through single-seaters, saloons, historic touring cars & Radicals to the thundering 700 bhp Marcos Mantara in which he won the British GT Championship partnered with Cor Euser.
Calum is also a multiple British Endurance Champion and in 2004 he competed at Le Mans in the first-ever Diesel powered Sports Prototype LMP1 car.
To date, Calum has contested seventeen 24 Hour races including Le Mans, Daytona, Nürburgring, Zolder and Silverstone.
